The First Night. The First Flame.
Hosted on the first night of Navratri. Theme: Red & Gold. The invocation. The first step into devotion, colour, rhythm and shakti.
The evening is designed around the energy of invocation, shakti and auspicious beginnings.
Aarambh is festive, powerful and intimate. It is the night where the season begins, where rhythm returns, where the circle forms again.
Red. Maroon. Antique gold. The glow of a diya in cupped hands. The first drumbeat.

Maa Durga, draped in red

Matkis, marigold and fairy lights

Bells on the sacred tree

The garba deep

The first aarti

A diya, passed hand to hand

The garden, before the first guest

The youngest dancers lead the circle

A twirl under the fairy lights

Chaniya in motion

The circle, in full rhythm

Pure laughter

Lost in the beat

Red, maroon, gold, together

White saree, red bangles, fairy lights above

A twirl beneath a sky of lights

The moment the beat takes over

The whole garden, spinning

Hands up, heart open

Maroon and gold, mid-spin

Lost completely to the dhol

Arriving together for the first night

Conversations between circles

A warm reunion

Our people, under one sky

One more for the memory

Families at Aarambh

Red, maroon, and pride

Hugs and homecoming
